Transformers 2 whut
Winter DownsId rather watch Ice Age 3 ._.
i mean dont get me wrong, Transformers is awesome, its just the movie... was... well...
all it consisted of was Megan Fox fanservice, asplosions, crude sexual humour, moar asplosions, and less than epic robot battles. i mean, the camera angles were so crazy and everything was moving too fast i didn't know what robot hit what. despite how awesome the CG effects were, i found myself looking past the screen. The plot was mediocre. i mean, if they took out the excess asplosions and pointless plot points that were pointless (like that college girl. she was into Sam, find out shes a decepticon, blow up half the college... then what? its like that whole thing was pointless from the start) then they could've developed the plot a little more and made it more interesting and deep. i mean, most of the dialogue was all "AFHDFDJKH ROBOT ALIENS KILLING US ALL DGSGFSKDGFK!! *insert important plot monologue here* MOAR ASPLODIN ROBOTS GSAGKSAGJFGSJAFSsafhSFJHJ!!!11ONE why wont you say you love me? D< why wont you? D<" and if there was no dialogue it was all bang bang BOOM! RARGH DESTRUCTION!
i mean i like my action movies, but only if they have a solid and well developed plot backing it up. but those are rare.
Good points were Bumblebee, but he wasn't as cute as he was in the first movie D: also those twin robots were funny. sure they talked like bad 90's gangsters, but they had their charm and one liners. so there.
Umm... the CG effects were good and im always impressed by the little details they put into the robots but you know, visual wise can only go so far for a movie to stand its ground.
Sam's mum was hilarious.
one thing that really bugged me though, "Autobots, rollout!" wasn't even said once. not even once! WTH?! and you call this a Tranaformers movie D<
ultimately, Michael Bay sucks balls. All his movies consist of are asplosions and boobs.
about halfway through the movie, i just wanted it to end -3-

oh and watching the trailers, that movie 2012... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMFG! how many end of the world movies do we fucking need?! oh and its from the same director as Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow and they both sucked, especially Independent Day, so this movie is most definitely going to suck.
i actually have my own theories by what the Mayans meant when the world would end in 2012, but its not the world collapsing into itself...
Anyways, i also saw the trailer for The Ugly Truth and it looks good.
i wanna go see Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter 6 T3T
also, the Hannah Montana movie but for shits and giggles. And Up, but i dont know when thats coming out D:

Anyway, yep, exactly, end of the world in 2012? BS. Actually, the Mayans didn't really predict the end of the world, per se, they actually predicted a 'great astronomical event', which is that, our solar system is going to be aligned with the center of the milky way galaxy, if I remember correctly. That, and I think the poles are going to switch but, I think that's about it. Anyway, actually, a pole shift could explain a global climate change. Like, if the Earth was moving on it's axis, so that the north pole now would be the south pole, and the south pole now would be the north pole, that could cause some crazy weather, like we're having.........so, yeah. Maybe, maybe not, I don't know.
Anyway, moving right along. Yes, I wanna see Ice Age 3 (I have yet to see the second one, but, meh, whatever), and Harry Potter 6 (part 1) (yeah, they have to release 2 movies for the 6th book, it's that long!)), although, the epilogue in the 7th book.....that just plain pissed me off. There are some things you don't screw with, and J.K. screwed with one of them. So, anyway, yeah.

I like that sort of movie though. <3 The Day After Tomorrow was neat. Guess it's just the thing to do these, y'know, since the world's probably endin' an all 8'D

i dunno, i get a lil sick of "omg teh wurld is ending!!1" movies coz theres so many xD
i think maybe people actually like the idea of the end of the world
well, if you want, what i think the Mayans meant was that the world wouldn't actually end in such a destructive manner or just simply end all existence, i think they mean its the end of this world, and new one will take its place. if that makes sense. umm... like an evolutionary change.
