I got hit with a wave of nostalgia and started watching Captain N on youtube. I hadn't watched that since i was... little. Then i saw a link (lol! ) to The Legend of Zelda cartoon which i also haven't seen since i was little (though i watched Captain N more). And even though some people say it was incredibly annoying, i loved Link's "Well, excuuuuuse me Princess." and it's sorta become his meme.
and i wish Link spoke in the games, so he could just say that. But then again, Zelda in the games never gave him reason to say it, however Zelda in the show did. She seemed to enjoy criticizing Link even for little things (i thought she was a bit of a snob...) but there is alot more sexual tension between show!Link and show!Zelda than game!Link and game!Zelda. Alot more.
and i like sexual tension xD

But anyways, just for the fun of it, i decided to draw present-day Link saying that infamous quote to present-day Zelda. However, looks like here Zelda might actually whack him one, unlike she did in the cartoon where she'd either roll her eyes or ignore it.

ill admit i had trouble drawing Zelda's outfit, mainly because i drew without a ref. so i over simplified the pattern on her.... thing on her dress... and did the rest by memory.

im drawing such cartoony art lately... haven't drawn anything serious in a while... maybe later
